A work by artist Hieke Pars in which Jo Willoughby was the recipient of an item of Luchtpost. LUCHTPOST is a small object, sent by mail to people who are interested “as an airy gesture.”
Jo recieved the packaged air by mail including: plastic bag* filled with air, repair tape, metal wire,
handwritten label, envelope, sticker, stamp. *reused. The message suggested that the recipient might reply.
In response to Hieke, Jo wrote a series of Love Letters on a borrowed type writer. Written to the street, the neighbours, the sounds of church bells and other day-to-day companions, the Love Letters were displayed in Het Museum Van. Every few days a new poem was added.
